Data Liability
Customer acknowledges that repair or diagnostic work may result in data loss. Aurora Computer Care is not responsible for lost, corrupted, or inaccessible data. Customer is advised to maintain backups of all important files prior to service.
Device Condition
Customer acknowledges the pre-existing damage and condition noted above. Aurora Computer Care is not responsible for pre-existing issues or damage not related to the authorized service.
Early Retrieval
If customer requests return of the device before repair is complete, a partial labor fee will apply based on work performed to date. The device may be returned in a different state than when received due to incomplete repair.
Payment
Payment is due in full upon return of the device. Aurora Computer Care reserves the right to retain possession of the device until payment is received. A $65 minimum visit charge applies to the initial visit and is non-refundable regardless of repair outcome.
Abandonment
If the device is not retrieved within 21 days of notification that service is complete, Aurora Computer Care will provide written notice of intent to dispose of the device. Customer will then have 60 days to reclaim the device before disposal proceedings begin per Colorado Revised Statutes § 38-20-116.
Independent Repair Provider Notice
Aurora Computer Care is an independent repair provider. We are not authorized by, or affiliated with, the manufacturer of your device. Repairs may use new or used replacement parts from suppliers other than the manufacturer. If a non-manufacturer part will be used, we will tell you before installing it.
